This place is fucking awesome. Vibes are cool, food was really good and cheap, and a great view of the sunset . Overall one of the best restaurants i've ever been to. Our server was Ashlyn and she deserves a raise. Thanks.

The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. This is only my second visit to Jekyll Island, I visited last fall and fell in love with the slow and easy vibe. I ate at The Wharf last year and had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. Today I ordered the Fish and Chips and it did not disappoint. The catch of the day was Haddock and it was fried to perfection. The batter was light, crunchy, and not greasy at all. I really wasn't prepared for how good it would be! lol My mom ordered the Calabash Shrimp Basket and they were also amazing. I waited to have my pecan pie later and it was worth the wait. Service was great and they were very accommodating to my dog providing a bowl of fresh water. Their music playlist was excellent as well. I noticed that they have live music on Thursdays and Saturdays 6-9 I think? It might be difficult to eat anywhere else while I'm here!

What a sweet find! The sorghum grain bowl was wonderful and a perfect option for gluten free or vegan. The bowl was filled with fresh greens and a light vinaigrette on the side. The second dish ordered was shrimp. The shrimp were fried in a light batter and delicious, the hush puppies were excellent, and the slaw ( traded for fries) was a great accompaniment. Our service was great and the view couldn't have been better. We did arrive a bit early and by 6:30 the crowd began to arrive. After eating enjoy a walk around the grounds to cap off a very nice evening.

Quite a nice experience. Lovely sitting outside with a beautiful view, the best of Jekyll Island. I would give the fires pickles a clear 5 out of 5, some of the best I had. Sweet potato fries were also excellent. I found the peel and eat shrimp just okay, not as much flavor (both the shrimp and sauce) as some other island venues but still good.

**Food:** 4/5 - Fried shrimp were perfect, greens were good, but the overcooked flounder keeps it from being a 5. **Ambiance:** 4/5 - The beautiful wharf setting is a major plus. **Service:** 5/5 - The very attentive and pleasant waitress elevates the service score. **Value:** 3/5 - An OK value for the food, but the $15 Mojito is noted as a bit pricey. **Overall:** 4/5 - The excellent service and ambiance are strong points, but the value, particularly the price of the Mojito, brings the overall rating down slightly from what could have been a 5-star experience.

This was our second favorite dinner on island. We had excellent service -- even though they were packed. And the food was very, very good. The other plus was that they had my husband's favorite dessert which we also enjoyed. He had a shrimp roll --which although didn't look the best -- was quite good. And I had their wedge salad to which I added fried oysters. This was outstanding. A fresh salad topped with huge creamy oysters that were lightly battered and some of the best I've had in some time. We both were very pleased with what we'd ordered. Then for dessert, we shared their banana pudding. No matter where we go, my husband always asks if they have this on their menu. It's become a standing joke for us -- from a hamburger joint to a steak house. His mom used to make this for him and it's his favorite. So, we were pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. Of course, we had to order it. It turned out to be an excellent version with a marshamallowy type topping on the creamy pudding with vanilla wafers and lots of fresh banana pieces. We sat inside as it was quite hot, but there's outside seating as well. Plus, they were just setting up the band as we were leaving if that if something you would enjoy. We'd definitely come back here if on island in the future -- and certainly recommend that you include this place in your list of choices.
